The internship opportunity is within Technology and Operations – Data in the newly formed Data Risk team. Data is a key asset of IAG, and a vital enabler of creating world-leading customer experiences that are insight-driven and evidence-based.

We are currently looking for an Intern within a newly formed Data Risk team. The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to provide support to the Data Risk team. This would include supporting the Data Risk team meet objectives to assist risk and control owners, including support for risk assessment and control design and control testing.

Your Key Accountabilities:

Complete quarterly control testing for risks emanating within Data

Support the Data Risk team in meeting objectives to manage risk for Tech & Ops – Data

Build collaborative, supportive, transparent relationships with Tech and Ops - Data colleagues

Foster a learning culture that actively benchmarks and challenges existing practices

Good verbal and written communication skills

Understanding of data and cloud technologies

Desired Experiences

• Understanding of the basics of risk management

• Fundamental knowledge of Data Science

Ideal Degree/Discipline

Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics/Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science

Eligibility Requirements

Second last or final year of a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Permanent residents and Australian citizens only

Identify as having disability

Candidates may be required to undergo a background check security clearance
