From the administration menu, click Network Settings button 2. You may need to enable modificaitons to IP settings 3. Click the IPv4 settings button 4. Set IPv4 settings to DHCP (We will change the IP Address later) 5. Confirm the changes 6. Power cycle printer 7. Once the machine powers back on, wait a few minutes 8. From the administration menu, click Network Settings button 9. Click the IPv4 settings button 10. Note the acquired IP address for the printer Network Setup (Remote UI) 1. Printer Setup

1. Plugin in ethernet cord

2. Plugin power cord

3. Power on unit

Network Setup

1. From the administration menu, click Network Settings button

2. You may need to enable modificaitons to IP settings

3. Click the IPv4 settings button

4. Set IPv4 settings to DHCP (We will change the IP Address later)

5. Confirm the changes

6. Power cycle printer

7. Once the machine powers back on, wait a few minutes

8. From the administration menu, click Network Settings button

9. Click the IPv4 settings button

10. Note the acquired IP address for the printer

Network Setup (Remote UI)

1. Assuming you now have the IP Address, from your web browser,

navigate to the printer's Remote Web User Interface via its IP

2. Click the 'Add. Func.' button or whatever equivalent you see on the interface

(You'll notice additional options are now available on the left navigation pane)

3. Click the 'system' link on the left navigation pane

Set System Manager Credentials

1. Once you click the system link, you'll be able adjust the printer settings as needed.

(You will notice at the top of the management page 'System Manager ID is not set')

3. Click the 'Edit' button to allow modifications to system settings

4. Click the 'Register ID and Password' button to set the System Manager credentials

5. Make sure to place a checkmark in 'Use System ID and Password'

Credentials can whatever you like, just document it!

e.g.

Username:7654321

Password:7654321

Note: These credentials should be standardized across all multifunction copiers.

6. Confirm the changes

Note: Upon refresh, you will receive an authentication prompt.

Simply input the newly-set credentials.

Register LDAP Server (e.g. Active Directory)

1. Click on the 'Register LDAP Server' link on the left navigation pane

2. Click on the register button (next to the red x) or whatever button would be equivalent to this

Configure LDAP Server (e.g. Active Directory)

1. Fill in the appropriate values for: 'Server Name', 'Server Address', 'Location to Start Search', and

'Login Information'

Values should be:

Server Name:<domaincontroller>

Server Address:<domaincontrollerIPAddress>

Location to Start Search:ou=<organizationalunit>,dc=acme,dc=contoso,dc=local

Login Information (dropdown, if you do not set this field to use, you cannot edit the remaining fields)

e.g. User: acme\PrinterServicePassword: <userPassword>

All other fields, leave at default values

V. Network Setup (Finalizing)

1. Click the 'Custom Settings' link on the left navigation pane

2. Click on the 'IP Address Settings (IPv4)' link

Configure Network Settings

3. Clear the 'Enable DHCP' check box

4. Set the appropriate IP Address for the printer

5. Confirm the changes

Configure Email-Fax Settings

1. Click the 'Custom Settings' link on the left navigation pane

2. Click the 'Email-Fax Settings' on the bottom right pane (you may have to scroll down)

Configure Email-Fax Settings Cont.

3. Uncheck the 'Pop Receive' check box

4. Fill in the appropriate values for 'SMTP Server', E-mail Addresses'
