STEP 1: Go onto your iPad’s settings.

STEP 2: Click on Wi-Fi and make sure it is clicked and ready to connect. Then click on “detnsw” IMPORTANT: IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN CONNECTED AND IT ISN’T WORKING, CLICK ON THE BLUE CIRCLE WITH THE i IN THE MIDDLE AND CLICK ON “FORGET THIS NETWORK”. THIS WILL ENABLE YOU TO START AGAIN AND CONNECT.

STEP 3: Write your username and for this step only, put @detnsw at the end of your name. For example, matthew.kelson@detnsw or Donald.trump6@detnsw. Place your password in the allocated space. You do not need to put @detnsw at the end of your name after this process.

STEP 4: Press “Join”. If it doesn’t join straight away, keep pressing “Join” and it will eventually connect to the DET WiFi.

STEP 5: Once connecting, you will be directed to the DET’s “Certificate” page. Click on the word “Trust”.

STEP 6: Once connected, you will be directed back to STEP 2 page where you will see that “detnsw” has a tick next to it. Click on the blue circle with the i in the middle on the same line as “detnsw”.

STEP 7: When you see the page below on your device, click on “Auto”.

STEP 8: Next step is to click on “Wi-Fi” at the very top of your device and you will be directed back to STEP 6’s page. You will see the spinning wheel next to “detnsw”. When you see a tick next to “detnsw”, you are now connected.
