My bachelor studies, with courses covering various fields of design applica on, made me some kind of a design generalist. Someone who can go crazy coming up with ideas and at the same me main-tains focus on what it takes for these ideas to be developed from a technical and organisi onal perspec ve and effec vely communicate them.

However, my studies le me clueless regarding my exact posi on in the design world. So I tried to define it myself, picking and working on any project I could find, with a natural incline to all things digital. It was mostly visual communica on projects for cultural events and occasionaly branding and web design. It wasn’t enough. I needed bigger challenges. I found out about Service Design. It felt like a direc on that suites me and it felt good, so at the age of 28 I decid-ed to become a student again. I moved in Copenha-gen in August of ‘14.

At the moment I am really looking forward in joing a professional team in Copenhagen. Gaining experi-ence, Sharing common goals with crea ve people and pu ng my best efforts in reaching them. Learn-ing from others but also bringing my own perspec-

ve and approach on the table...

Service DesignNavid Indoor Wayfinding Service. Semmester Group Project.

NAVID is an indoor wayfinding service. Its development was based on qualita ve research conducted in AAU - CPH campus regarding wayfind-ing habits and personal strategies and interviews conducted with stake-holders responsible for the room management.

The service draws data from the already installed informa on systems to offer personalised des na ons which can be accessed by its users with the use of the building access card.

‘The “Follow direc ons” func on enables the users to review the direc-ons to their des na on at any service touchpoint without the need of

selec ng or searching their des na on again.

Towards a “fric on-less” experience, the service logs its users out automa cally when they move away from the touchpoint from which they accessed the service.
