    CHAPTER 2 - ORDINAL NUMBERS

    Numbers which are used for counting are called cardinal numbers.

    Eg : 1,2,3,4...

    It answers the question How many?

    An Ordinal number is a number that tells the position or rank of an object

    in an ordered collection or group. Numbers such as first, second, third

    ..are ordinal numbers.

    Cardinal numbers show the quantity and the ordinal numbers show the rank

    or position.

    Add st, nd and rd after 1, 2 and 3

    respectively to get first three ordinal
