Air-operated, double-diaphragm re- liability has been optimized with the development of Wilden’s patented Pro- Flo technology. The design utilizes a pilot valve and unbalanced spool to serve as an anticentering device thereby holding the pump’s shifting mechanrsm in place until reciprocation is initiated. Proprietary composite seal and bore materials coupled with close manufacturing tolerances enable the pump to operate without lubrication while significantly reducing blow-by. Freezing is diminished due to the port- ing and muffler design, which slows expansion of air within the pump to keep moisture held in suspension.
