Rooms With A View

Statham Lodges’s beautifully appointed banqueting suites, garden rooms and grounds provide an idyllic setting for your wedding celebration.

Whether it’s just the two of you or a celebration for 250, our elegantly proportioned rooms, many with Georgian features intact, provide picture perfect backdrops for wedding receptions of any size.

Our largest banqueting suite boasts a state-of-the-art sound system, air conditioning, mood lighting, dance floor, private bar and connected buffet room. Our garden rooms open onto picturesque reception terraces, perfect for arrival drinks, summer BBQs and outdoor civil ceremonies.

Our Bride’s Changing Room with private sitting room is tucked away upstairs in the original part of the house and provides the perfect place for the Bride and Bridesmaids to get ready on the morning of the wedding.

With a license to host civil ceremonies and partnerships in 5 splendid ceremony rooms as well as outdoors under our romantic garden gazebo, Statham Lodge has the advantage of being able to offer everything under one roof on your wedding day.

With 37 individually designed bedrooms at the hotel, there’s no need to worry about ordering taxis. Your guests can make a night of it and join you for breakfast in the morning.

Whether you have only the inkling of an idea or have been planning this moment since primary school, our wedding team will turn your wedding day into a day to remember for the rest of your lives.

From our first meeting to ironing out the final details, our wedding co-ordinators will design a wedding celebration that is perfectly suited to your wishes and budget.

As we only take one wedding a day, from the moment you arrive to the moment we wave you off to start your new life together, you are guaranteed to have our best attention at all times.

Food For Thought

No luxury wedding venue would be complete without an excellent kitchen and staff and we are proud of our reputation for outstanding cuisine and signature silver service.

All our wedding menus have been carefully designed by our Head Chef using the freshest and wherever possible locally sourced ingredients. If however you would like to design your own bespoke menu, the chef would be delighted to discuss any of your ideas with you.

A wedding tasting evening is held before your wedding day to help you finalise any of your menu and drink selections. We are happy to design bespoke menus or adapt the menus in our all inclusive packages.

Children, vegetarians and guests with special dietary requirements are also catered for.

Some Final Details

As well as bespoke weddings, we have flexible all-inclusive wedding packages available on selected days throughout the year. These packages take care of your guests every need on the day and have been designed to make your day straight forward to plan and budget for.

All Statham Lodge weddings come with the full use of 11 acres of private grounds; the services of a wedding co-ordinator who will also act as your master of ceremonies; a postbox and present table; table linen and napkins; a silver cake stand and knife; a red carpet for your grand entrance; a standard dance floor for your first dance; a complimentary bridal suite; discounted room rates for your wedding guests; and last but not least over 50 years of wedding know-how, to deliver the wedding day you have always dreamed of.
