Quantitative Knowledge Evidence of quantitative skills is required for admission to the MBA program. Normally this is demonstrated by a minimum score of 550 on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The GMAT requirement may be waived with evidence of quantitative skills normally shown by successful completion of a current (within the last five years) university-level course in calculus or statistics with a grade of B+ (77%) or better (only considered if all other admission requirements are met or exceeded). The GMAT is recommended to strengthen an application. The GMAT is mandatory for all applicants who have completed their previous degree(s) outside of Canada, as well as those applying to the MBA with Co-op format.

Exclusions(for applicants to the Toronto programs ONLY)
Students wishing to be considered for any exclusions based on previous course work must do so at the time of application to the program. Consideration is given only prior to admission to the Laurier Toronto part-time program, and only core courses are eligible for exclusion(s). No exclusions are granted for the full-time and the full-time with co-op MBA programs. On the recommendation of the MBA Admissions Committee to the Dean of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies, students may be granted exclusions, to a maximum of eight half-credit courses,for prior course credit. Exclusions may be granted for university courses taken within the last five years with a grade of 73% or higher. List the courses you want the university to consider for exclusion and submit a full coursesyllabus for each course with this application (see contact information below). Exclusions for the Toronto programs are considered based on a successfully completed BBA, or a BComm degree from a Canadian Business school only, with a final GPA of 77% in the last two years of study.

4. Describe your career aspirations and why you have decided to enter Laurier’s MBA program at this time.
5. The Admissions Committee is not only attempting to identify candidates with strong academic potential, but also those with strong potential for future success in a professional environment. What additional information concerning such areas as leadership ability, entrepreneurial interests or interpersonal skills can you supply in support of your candidacy?
6. Provide any other information you feel may be relevant and of interest to the admissions committee.
