Once upon a Time

There was

a great storm

And a great many starfish got washed up

on the beach.

A boy was throwing some of the starfish

back into the sea

When a man came along and asked the boy

“Why do you do this?”

“There are so many starfish.

It won’t make any difference, throwing a few back into the sea”

The boy threw another starfish back into the

sea and said to the man.

“May be” “But it makes a lot of difference to this one”

AcknowledgementI read this story, somewhere and long ago.

I feel sure that the original story teller would like the story retold, as I do, in whatever form.

Just so that it might make a difference to some.
