To turn this ambitious plan into reality, we need the help of alumni, parents and friends. A successful $5 millionfundraising campaign provides Alpha Epsilon the resources to realize this worthy vision.

That’s why your participation in this feasibility study process is critical. The AE Corporation needs yourcounsel and advice, and that of other influential brothers concerning this proposed eort. To determine if such a project is feasible, the AECorporation has enlisted the help of OmegaFi, aGreek-focused professional fundraising firm based in Columbus, Georgia to conduct a feasibility and planning study on our behalf. OmegaFi has successfully conducted similar projects for ATO chapters at the University of Mississippi and the University of Georgia. They are also responsible for the fundraising eorts that put Kappa Alpha Order, Lambda Chi Alpha and Pi Kappa Alpha in their new and renovated houses at Auburn. Your participation in this study process is critical. The feasibility study will help determine whether our alumni are motivated to participate to the extent necessary to make this long-held, long-awaited dream come true again for a new generation of ATO brothers.

Although attempts to try and build in the past have not succeeded, things are dierent today. We have acommitted alumni board that is involved and exercising oversight. The chapter is stronger than ever. We’veretained outside counsel (OmegaFi) to help guide our eorts and manage our fundraising activities and income. Being perfectly candid, ATO is at a critical juncture in our long and storied history at Auburn. We now have this singleopportunity to ensure that excellence is sustained and enhanced indefinitely.

Working together we can build for the future and ensure the tradition and legacy you helped build will never die. Now is the time to recommit ourselves to ATO’s future and build a house we can all be proud to call home.

The Proposed $5 Million Campaign for ATOThe most recent housing situation for ATO at Auburn University proves, again, our chapteris unlike all others. Faced with a nearly condemned house located at 118 Thomas Street, recruitment numbers, excitement and the bonds of brotherhood continue to thrive. The suspension of another fraternity on campus spelled opportunity for ATO allowing thechapter to move to another temporary house on campus for the time being.

However, this provides only a short-term answer for a problem requiring a long-term solution. The time has come for ATO to build our own fraternity house.

Over the years, ATO is fortunate to have had several chapter houses set the backdrop for so many unforgettable experiences, relationships and career launching points. Though some houses have been less than ideal, it is what goes on inside the walls that defines Alpha Epsilon.

This project has been on every ATO's mind for quite some time. False starts and situations beyond our control have hindered our progress, but we have not relented the dream. We need a house that reflects what we know ATO to be – the best fraternity at Auburn and one of the most outstanding chapters in the country.

On Campus Today Despite the challenges of our past, our chapter proves to be a portrait of resilience. We constantly push the boundaries of success in the loveliest village on the Plains. To call our current 130-man chapter a premiere fraternity at Auburn would be an understatement.

Last year, Alpha Epsilon brothers performed 8,171 community service hours making us a top10 Chapter in the nation for ATO. In addition, ATO raised over $60,000 dollars for various philanthropies making us a top 5 ATO chapter in the nation for dollars raised.

WE ALSO SET THE STANDARD IN CAMPUS PARTICIPATION:

• Seven-time True Merit Award Winner

• Cumulative Fraternity GPA of 3.21 which is above Auburn’s All-Male Average

• 85% on-campus involvement

• Current President of War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen

• Current President of Freshmen Leadership Programs

• Current President of Impact

• Alpha Tau Omega National Fraternity Excellence Award Winner for Campus Involvement, Communication, Recruitment, Scholarship, Elevate, and Impact

• Alpha Tau Omega National Fraternity Excellence Award Winner in Recruitment

Continuing a lasting legacy is important to our chapter. They are animpressive group of young men who demonstrate the spirit of ATO. They deserve our support.

Our ChallengeOne of the most important factors to ensure our long-term success is a modern, safe and well-equipped fraternity house. It is both a tribute and a shame to ATO that we have been able to succeed without a permanent fraternity house for so long. ATO has proven the ability to thrive in below-average living conditions and demonstrated they deserve a new chapter house.

Facilities matter. They matter to the Auburn football team, and they matter to fraternities.

With 29 fraternities and 17 sororities, the Greek system at Auburn is strong. Auburn is more academically competitivethan ever before, and competition for top students is fierce. Students expect more room, more privacy and better access to educational technology. Ten fraternities have renovated or built new houses in recent years. To eectively compete in the years to come, we must do the same.

Today, we own a lot on Lem Morrison, we have a lease on a temporary chapter house but no permanent structure to call home. With your help, we can rectify this situation.

The New ATO HouseThe Alpha Epsilon Corporation is now considering conducting a $5 million capital campaign, which, if successful, would build a new chapter house on Lem Morrison. The results of this feasibility study will help determine whether our alumni are motivated to help make this long-held, long-awaited dream come true for a new generation of ATO brothers.

Many years in the making, the plans call for building an18,500 sq. ft. facility that will sleep 40 brothers in a modern, state-of-the-art, two-story home. Features of the housewill include:

• Alumni Room / Library – the “crown jewel” and focal point of our new house. A place to honor and celebrate our storied past while committing to a vibrant future

• TV Lounge

• Commercial kitchen

• Dining room for chapter meetings and meals

• House Director’s apartment

• Alumni guest room

• Private study area

• An expansive, private outdoor patio

• An external pavilion for social activities

• Significant parking for undergraduate and alumni use

The new brick house will meet all University and City of Auburn health, safety and architectural standards using classical Greek architecture. It will have commercial heating, air conditioning and plumbing systems and life safety and security systems. Although costly, these features ensure a durable and safe house of the highest quality that will allow ATO brothers to live, work, and learn in a safe and comfortable environment for years into the future.
