As a result of her “retirement” from this Apostolate, we are asking for a small group to help out so no one person is in charge. Please call the parish of ice to sign-up to help organize future blood drives. There will be a meeting in August to go over what details are involved. We have sponsored a blood drive at St. Mary for over 25 years and have saved many lives!

CollectionofToiletriesForMigrantWorkers

Each year the Diocese of Raleigh organizes the Catholic Encoun-ter of Migrant Workers. Among other things we want to give them each a bag with toiletries. We ask for your help with donating sets of the following products, each one in a “normal” size (neither small nor large). • Shampoo • Deodorant • Bar soap • Toothpaste/Toothbrush • Moisturizing cream for dry skin Please deliver all six items in one bag. If you cannot help with all six products you can join with other people so among several of you can complete the set. We also accept long sleeve shirts, clean and in good condition. Finally, we ask your prayers for these brothers. Please bring donated items to the church and leave in the box in the narthex no later than July29. For more information contact Mike Mun-ster at 919-567-1565.
