WEEKLY FINANCIAL REPORT FOR WEEKEND 02/21/2016

CHURCH INTERIOR PAINTING IS NEARLY COMPLETED!! We hope everyone has been enjoying the unfolding of our newly painted church interior and new décor. We had again contracted with Towne and Country Painting (who painted our church nearly 15 years ago) to repaint the interior. In addition to the interior décor, we have decorated the altar with five BEAUTIFUL wall paintings in the shape of medallions. They were painted by a litur-gical artist from the Clarion, PA, area named Mary Eliza-beth Birkos. Mary is not only a talented artist, but a master “craftsman” who has served as the general con-tractor on 16 church renovations. Mary specializes in working at her studio on statue repair and restoration. You can see photographs of some of her work on her website at www.Ecclesiastical-Artist.com. Mary’s paintings certainly enhance our worship services with these stunning visual liturgical symbols. Thank you all for your patience through this renovation process. ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL COMMITMENT SUNDAY This Sunday is Commitment Sunday for Our 2016 Annual Catholic Appeal. You should have received a letter and a pledge envelope from the diocese. Our parish goal for this year is $59,889. We thank you for again supporting this annual diocesan fund appeal which supports so many ministries, besides sending any “over goal” amounts back to our church. In 2015, we received over $7,000 back into our parish. Please be as generous as possible to help us meet and go over our goal again this year. Your ACA gifts and/or pledges help to support more than 20 ministries, programs and services that are sponsored by your diocese.
