-All the faithful departed +

Dear Friends of St. John the Baptist,

This past Wednesday, May 10, our parish held it’s last

Faith Formation meeting for children and youth before the

summer break. We enjoyed a great meal of pizza, soft drinks

and cookies, along with all the joy and laughter of bringing

the year of CCE to a close. I want to thank all the children

and young people for being such great participants every

Wednesday of the school year. Each of them helped to create

a great environment for praying and learning. They also

helped with the setting up and putting away of the tables,

chairs and learning materials used for each session. I also

want to express my thanks to parents and grandparents who

bring the children and young people and encourage them to

participate. Parents and grandparents please continue to en-

courage and support your children in the knowledge and

practice of our Catholic faith

Lastly, I’d like to thank our faith formation leaders, with-

out whom there would be no CCE program. Their love for

the children and young people of our parish expresses itself

in the many sacrifices made to prepare the Wednesday ses-

sions and to give so willingly of their time and energy. On

behalf of St. John the Baptist, we give thanks to you, our Faith

Formation Leaders, and say, “Well Done, Good and Faithful

Servants!”

Sincerely in Christ,

Fr. David
