It’s getting cold outside...

Our homeless would greatly appreciate new sleeping bags, heavy socks, watch caps, and dark colored sweat shirts & pants in large or extra large. You can drop them off either to the Ka-vanagh Hall during Sunday Hospitality or to the Parish Office during regular office hours. Please do not bring any other items at this time as we don’t have a place to store them.

Q&A

Q: In a season of gi -giving, the Catechism instructs the faithful regarding the beau -ful gi s and virtues of the Holy Spirit. How many of these twelve fruits of eternal glory do you recognize with-in you?

A: The tradi on of the Church lists twelve perfec-

ons that the Holy Spirit forms in us: charity, joy, peace, pa ence, kindness, goodness, generosity, gen-tleness, faithfulness, modes-ty, self-control, and chas ty.

From the Pastors’ Desk…

WELCOME! Whether you are visi ng during this Advent/Christmas season or if you are a long- me parishioner - we would like to thank you for coming and sharing in Mass with us today.

You may no ce there is a rather large, non-Christmas-like, tree up near the altar. We brought this tree in last week for our St. James’ School Christmas Sing to dedicate to the lives that were lost due to the tragic accident last year. Tomorrow we will plant the tree outside as a remembrance of them. As the fam-ilies con nue to heal, we ask that you keep them in our pray-ers.

A erwards, we will decorate the church for Christmas, and we look forward to celebra ng the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas and God Bless you All!
