Friday Night suggestions

• 2.5 hour limit, with interval

• Each item tells another part of the story/history of St George’s legend

• Variety… something for the young, parents, elderly… a mix of music

The Story…

• A town was terrorised by a dragon

• A young princess was offered to the dragon

• When George heard about this he rode into the village

• George slayed the dragon and rescued the princess

Proposals (Set list)

• Medieval music whilst people take their seats• Compeer telling the story / linking it to Walsall• A town was terrorised by a dragon - contemporary

performance• A young princess was offered to the dragon – Standing

choir• INTERVAL – seating change-around • When George heard about this he rode into the village
