WhetherWhether you are planning an intimate wedding reception for 50 people, or a larger celebration with up to 2,000 guests, we can accomodate your needs. The Saint Charles Convention Center offers an elegant 16,200 square foot Grand Ballroom, a 6,025 square foot Junior Ballroom, and a 27,600 square foot space that can be carpeted and draped to create the Saint Charles Ballroom. We also provide in-house catering, on-site audio visual, staging, decor, and a dedicated and experienced event management and catering staff to ensure the success of your wedding. your wedding.

7 - 10 Months Before Wedng

- Finalize all contracts and deposits with: - Saint Charles Convention Center - Photographer - Decor Company - DJ/Entertainment - Bakery - Florist - Transportation

- Schedule planning meetings with each vendor to discuss details

-- Choose and order your wedding dress

- Complete wedding registry. You will need to monitor your registry on a regular basis and add items if necessary

- Prepare the guest list

- Order wedding rings

- Select and order bridesmaid attire

- Select and order grooms tuxedo, groomsmen attire, and schedule first fitting

-- Book your honeymoon and apply for passports if needed

- Schedule your bridal portrait sitting

- Order all wedding stationary: Invitiations, response cards, and thank you notes

- Book the rehearsal dinner

- Schedule your first fitting for your wedding dress

- Check requirements for issuing marraige license

- Finalize the guest list

2 - 3 Months Before Wedng- Begin writing vows

- Visit with officiant to go over vows, readings, and ceremony music

- Shop for lingerie and honeymoon clothes

- Choose gifts for your bridal party

- Mail your invitations 6 - 8 weeks in advance

-- Get forms for name change from the department of motor vehicles and social security office

- Get the appropriate forms from credit card companies and your bank if you will be changing your name

- Call any guests that have not sent back an RSVP

- Pick up your marriage license

- Complete floor and seating plan for reception

- Confirm arrival time for all attendants

- Give caterer a finalized head count

- Submit final deposit to Saint Charles Convention Center
