BAUTIZOS Platicas Pre-Bautismales en español son el 2do y ultimo lunes del mes a las 5:30 PM en el templo. Por favor no traigan niños, pues distraen a las personas. Los Bautizos se celebran los sábados a las 9:30 AM.

MATRIMONIO Por favor no fijar fecha para la boda antes de hablar con un sacerdote. Usted puede llamar a la Oficina Parroquial para hacer una cita con el sacerdote. Las parejas deben de comenzar los preparativos para el sacramento cuando menos con 6 meses de anticipación a la fecha de la boda. Las parejas necesitan asistir a clases pre-matrimoniales.

UNCIÓN DE LOS ENFERMOS Puede llamar a la Oficina Parroquial para hacer una cita con el sacerdote para confesiones, comunión y unción de los enfermos. Les pedimos a nuestros feligreses que se encarguen de sus necesidades espirituales antes de ir al hospital.

Sacrament Information

BAPTISMS Baptism classes are held every third Saturday of the month promptly at 11:00 AM in the Chapel /Hospitality Room. Baptisms in English will be celebrated every Sat-urday at 8:30 AM.

MARRIAGE Please do not set a wedding date before you talk to a priest. Call the Parish Office to make an appointment with a priest to schedule your wedding. Couples must begin their preparation for the sacrament at least 6 months in advance of their wedding date. Couples must attend the marriage preparation classes.

ANNOINTING OF THE SICK You may call the Parish Office to make an appointment to see a priest for confession, communion and anointing of the sick. We encourage our parishioners to have their spiritual needs taken care of before they go to the hospi-tal.

The catechumens, through elec-tion, scrutinies, and catechesis, prepare for the sacraments of Christian Initiation. The faith-ful, through prayer and penance, prepare for the renewal of their Baptismal Promises.

CSA 2018 Kick Off! The theme for the Catholic Stewardship Appeal - CSA 2018 - is “Love you Neighbor as Yourself” (Lev. 19:18). Let us all make our Pledge today to show love for our neighbors and build up Christ’s Kingdom here in the Dio-cese of Las Vegas. Pledge Cards and pens are in the pews, and information on CSA 2018 is on the table outside of Church after Mass. If you have not done so, please make this week in Lent your week to pledge. CSA - a very worthwhile Lenten almsgiving!

Catholic Medical Association ‘Way of the Cross’ and Lenten Welcome / Social Friday, March 16 at 6 PM at Saint Anne’s Saint Michael Adoration Chapel. Artist and Musician Greg Barnaby will lead in praying and chanting the Stations of the Cross. He will then offer a presentation

on his inspirations for the Stations he painted in the chapel. A welcome and social will follow in the Hospitality Room for all Physicians, Nurses, and Health Care Profes-sionals.

Lenten Fish Fry / Supper Every Friday in Lent, Feb 16, 23; March 2, 9, 16, 23; from 4 PM to 7 PM, at the Picnic Tables. Come and en-joy a good fish tacos dinner, drink and dessert, and fel-lowship, offered by our Saint Anne Council of the Knights of Columbus. $5 pp for the Lenten Friday Fish Tacos Dinner.

Pope Francis’ March 2018 Prayer Intention Formation in Spiritual Discernment: that the Church may appreciate the urgency of formation in spiritual discernment, both on the personal and communi-tarian levels.

Fast and Abstinence As a reminder, Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of Fast-ing (1 meal) and Abstinence (no meat). And all Fridays of the sea-son of Lent are days of Abstinence (no meat).

Rice Bowls Rice Bowls, Catholic Relief Services’ An-nual Lenten Program, are distributed to our parish, school, and CCD. Rice Bowls may be placed on your table throughout Lent, the Rice Bowl prayer may be prayed at each Lenten meal, and the change and donations saved and put into it through Lent may be returned in Holy Week, All sacrificial donations go to Catholic Relief Services, the US Bishops’ worldwide charity, which does so much good in so many regions of great need. Our CSA 2018 Parish Rebate Project-Rectory Roof Repair The rectory roof is in critical need of maintenance in or-der to continue to use it daily for Adoration Chapel, Of-fices, Hospitality and Classes, and as Priests residence. Recent rains have caused leaks in almost every room of the rectory. Together, if we all participate in the CSA, we can accomplish this important project.

Padre Francisco Garces OFM Entrada Today, March 3-4, marks the arrival of Father Francisco Garces OFM into Nevada, and his evangelization among the Mojave tribe. The dates were March 3 - 4, 1776. A state historical marker to his expedition is on the Needles Highway near St. John the Baptist parish in Laughlin.

La temporada de Cuaresma Los 40 días de la Temporada de Cuaresma preparan tanto a los catecúmenos como a los fieles para el misterio pascual. "Vía Crucis" de la Asociación Médica Católica y Bienvenida Cuaresmal / Social Viernes, 16 de Marzo a las 6 p.m. en la Capilla de Adoración San Miguel en la Parroquia de Santa Ana.

El artista y músico Greg Barnaby estará orando y cantando las Estaciones de la Cruz. Luego ofrecerá una presentación sobre su inspiración de las Estaciones que pintó en la capilla. Tazones de Arroz Los Tazones de Arroz, para el programa de Cuaresma Anual de Servicios de Alivio Católicos, se distribuirán en nuestra parroquia, escuela y Catecismo. Puede colocar el plato de arroz en la mesa y rezar la oración del Plato de Arroz antes de cada comida durante la Cuaresma. El cambio y las donaciones guardadas durante la Cuaresma las puede devolver durante la Semana Santa. Todas las donaciones serán dadas a Servicios de Alivio Católicos, la organización mundial benéfica de los Obispos de los Estados Unidos. Y que hace tanto bien en muchas regiones de gran necesidad. ¡Santa Ana por la beca recibida! La Escuela Católica de Santa Ana recibió la beca E.L. Wiegand por la cantidad de $163,000.00. Esta beca fue ofrecida a la escuela de Santa Ana para poder expandir los edificios de la escuela y crear un salón especial de Música y Arte para nuestros alumnos. Gracias Señor –Gracias Wiegand- ¡Felicidades Cruzados! El trabajo de construcción continuara durante la Semana Santa. Por favor de tomar nota de las aéreas marcadas con cinta de precaución alrededor del salón Harrington Hall-estará fuera de limites durante este tiempo.

Nuestro proyecto de reembolso parroquial CSA 2018 - Reparación del techo de la Rectoría El techo de la rectoría necesita mantenimiento urgentemente, para continuar usándolo a diario para la Capilla de Adoración, Oficinas, Hospitalidad, Clases y como residencia de los sacerdotes. Las recientes lluvias han causado filtraciones en casi todas las habitaciones de la rectoría. Si todos participamos juntos en el CSA, podemos lograr este importante proyecto.

¡Ha comenzado el registro escolar en Santa Ana para TODOS! Las registraciones en la escuela de Santa Ana están en marcha para el año 2018-2019, para PreK-Grado 8. Para las familias que regresan, la registración para 2018-2019 es en Febrero, para familias nuevas comienzan el 1 de Marzo. ¡Regístrate ya!

Oración por las Vocaciones Continuemos manteniendo las vocaciones sacerdotales y de vida religiosa en oración. Señor, levanta muchos nuevos discípulos, y vocaciones sacerdotales y religiosas, aquí en Santa Ana y en la Diócesis de Las Vegas.

Cambios en los salones de Catecismo Como resultado de la construcción, todas las clases de Catecismo del salón Harrington se transferirán a la Biblioteca, donde previamente se habían ofrecido clases de Catecismo y Catecismo en Pre-K se transferirán al Salón Hospitalidad siento que el Cuidado Después de Clases se transfirió a Pre-K. Estos cambien continuaran durante el resto del año Catequético. Gracias por su comprensión y flexibilidad.
