Pentecost celebrates our bearing fruits in soul through the Spirit, thus, pouring out our mutual love and forgiveness to become united in our unique gifts, one body in diverse works, one church in Christ. St. Paul speaks to us, “I, then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bear-ing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace: one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” (Eph 4:1-6) St. Irenaeus reiterates, “Like dry flour, which cannot be-come one lump of dough, one loaf of bread, without moisture, we who are many could not become on in Christ Jesus
without the water comes down from heaven…Through the baptism that liberates us from change and decay we have become one in body; through the Spirit we have become one in soul.” Recognize your unique gifts from God in baptism and celebrate its fruits in His beauti-ful garden of love, beginning here at St. Anne, where we welcome ALL to become one in Christ. Families WILL NO longer be allowed to register their child for Parish Religious Education (PRE) after August 31st. New Registrations will no longer be accepted on or after the first day of PRE.
Registration dates to choose from: Child must be present for ID photo June 1st-August 31st in the parish office Wednesday August 1st at 6:30-8:00pm in Mary’s Hall- Sunday August 5th 9:00-10:30am in Mary’s Hall- After August 6th – 31st in the parish office.
$50 registration fee per family AND $50 volunteer fee Installment payments can be made thru the office over the summer. Registration is required before August 31st, even if registration pay-ment cannot be made at this time.

Thank you to all the parents and 15 children who came to altar server training on Wednesday 5/16, followed by an ice cream social in Mary’s hall. Provided by Knights of Columbus.

Deacon Keith Higginbotham from our parish will be or-dained a priest on Saturday 5/26/18, 10am at Christ the King Church, everyone is invited to attend. Sunday 5/27/18, Keith will say his thanksgiving mass (bilingual) here at St. Anne parish at 10:30am. This will be the only mass that day.
El Diácono Keith Higginbotham de nuestra parroquia será ordenado sacer-dote el sábado 26 de Mayo, a las 10am en la Iglesia de Cristo Rey en Little Rock, todos están invitados. El Domingo 27/5/18, Keith celebrará su primera misa en acción de gracias (bilingüe) aquí en la parroquia de Santa Ana a las 10: 30 a.m. Esta será la única misa de ese día.

The theme for the 2018 Bible Institute is: “A Lively Sense of God: Treasuring the Old Testament Witness to God.” Brother John Barker, OFM, will be the keynote speaker. He is a Scripture professor who teaches at Catholic Theological Un-ion in Chicago. This event also includes prayer, small group faith sharing, discussions with the speaker and Mass. It be-gins at 7 p.m. Friday, 6/15 and ends by noon on Sunday,
6/17. The $125 registration fee includes four meals. It does not include housing. Participants may request on-campus housing at St. John Catholic Center at the time of registration. Single occupan-
cy is $40 per room, per night and double occupancy is $50 per room, per night. Space is limited with fees by Friday, 6/1. Scholarship requests up to $50 are available. Pre-registration is required.
