BISHOP DAVID J. WALKOWIAK ASKS US TO PRAY FOR OUR SEMINARIANS

Loving God, raise up dedicated leaders who will shepherd your people and guide them to your Son. Give generous and willing hearts to the seminarians of our Diocese who have heard your call to live a life of ser-vice to the Church. Help us to encourage and support them as they strive to become priests who are models of discipleship, possessors of wisdom and on fire with love for your people. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We especially pray for: William Beers

Each week we pray, read and explore the Sunday Gospel from a child’s view-point. We include the Gospel Acclamation so that children under-stand the importance of preparing our mind and heart for the Gos-pel reading. We will not have CLW on May 14th due to Mother’s Day. May you have a blessed day. May 21st will be our last CLW for the school year.

One of these volunteer families, Butch and Marcy Goosen, are retiring after many, many years of volunteering in so many ways: Pastoral Council, Finance Council, Angel Cooks Meal Ministry, Auctions, Festi-vals, funeral luncheons, counting and coordinating the con-tribution counters, prayers and backing St. Michael’s in eve-ry way! (I know we missed some) We appreciate your ex-pertise and the loving way you handled your volunteer expe-rience. God Bless! ~The St. Michael’s Parish Family
