This weekend, we are celebrating the feast of the Baptism of Our Lord. The Lord Jesus is ever ready to renew and refashion us in his likeness through the gift and working of the Ho-ly Spirit - and he anoints us for mission as ambassadors of his kingdom of righteousness (moral goodness), peace, and joy. We are called to be the "light" and salt" of his kingdom that radiate the beauty and aroma of his mercy and goodness to those around us. The Lord Jesus wants his love and truth to shine through us that many others may find new life, free-dom, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Ask the Lord Jesus to fill you with his Holy Spirit that you may radiate the joy of the Gospel to those around you.

times a year, in accordance with
the seasons changing. Contact

Christian Unity Service
This universal week of prayer encourages all Christians to meet, participate in
community activities and to pray together that all may be one. It will be held at
Holy Redeemer at 7 pm on Monday, January 20th.
Alpha Course Starts: January 23 — What’s it all about? The Alpha Course is for anyone interested in exploring the meaning of life and discovering the relevance of the Christian faith.
