This course will give you the tools to determine if a non-citizen client is eligible for full program benefits or emergency medical only (CAWEM). The training is focused on medicaid benefits specifically.

This course is intended for SSP Case Managers or others directly involved with Re-engagement and Disqualification of JOBS clients. It will help you understand current policy and processes.

This training will cover Phase III of Healthy Kids. It will include an overview of Healthy KidsConnect (HKC), as well as the new eligibility requirements for the program. Also included will be the role of the Office of Private Health Partnerships (OPHP) in providing the private market components (subsidy or buy-in) for children who qualify for Healthy KidsConnect.

Covers the implementation of ‘Express Lane Eligibility’ (ELE). ELE is a tool that allows us to use some eligibility factors from other programs, such as SNAP to determine eligibility for some children’s medical programs.
