OVERVIEW This SRC Act Self-Insurance transition plan provides a program of works required to transition the existing Rehabilitation Management System from the current arrangement as a premium paying organisation, to a self-insurance licence arrangement. As part of Workers Compensation Self-Insurance arrangements, the University proposes to use a third party arrangement with Comcare, for the provision of claim management services. This arrangement will occur on commencement of a self-insurance licence arrangement, with a proposed start date of the 1 July, 2018. The actions required to ensure this will occur seamlessly while maintaining the system requirements for claims management, are detailed within this plan, and include the following sections: 1. The procedure ‘Work health and safety audit’ does mention the SRC Act and states that that the procedure describes how the University establishes, implements and maintains audits for its claims management systems it actually only contains a procedure for WHS audits. 5. Review and Improvement 5.1 The applicant will analyse claims management system performance outcomes against documented objectives to determine areas requiring improvement and promote and implement continuous improvement strategies.

Governance framework (ANU Claims Management System Manual) to be developed to determine claims management system implementation, performance tracking and reviews will be conducted as per safety and rehabilitation management systems.
