Squad 51 is Ohio’s first full-service 24 hour Pet Emergency Response Unit. We are a team of experienced and dedicated veterinary healthcare professionals
offering compassionate emergency medical care and transportation for animals throughout Cuyahoga County.
As much as we love our pets, we are sometimes unable to protect them from sickness or harm. If your pet experiences a sudden or acute onset illness or is
involved in an accident, Squad 51 can triage, stabilize and transport your pet in a safe and caring environment

EMERGENCY TRANSPORT CRITICAL CARE HOME FOLLOW UP CARE
Squad 51 provides 24 hour emergency medical care and transportation from your home or accident scene to veterinary clinic/hospital or urgent care center. This includes life support services such as oxygen, IV therapy, intubation and vital systems monitoring.
We offer service for patients that require transport between veterinary clinics/urgent care or surgical centers without interruption in medical care. We specialize in transporting oxygen dependent patients, as wells as post-op, physical therapy, and chemo protocol patients.
Post-op or post-procedure care can be stressful for both the pet owner and the pet. One of our veterinary nurses can visit your home and provide assessment and follow up care (per your vet’s instructions)such as wound/dressing care or medication administration.

Deceased Pet Removal Service: In the unfortunate event of the death of a companion pet, Squad 51 can remove an expired animal from
the home or other location and transport to a prearranged facility for cremation or burial.
