Belle Petite Story
Originally from Massachusetts, Carol has called Colorado her home for over fifteen years. Residing in Winter Park with her husband Freddy and daughter Bella, they spend their winters skiing and summers biking.
Since a young girl, Carol has always loved fashion (making some interesting choices as a teenager) and developed her own unique look. Living in the mountains has taught Carol practicality, but she has learned there’s always some room for style.
After having her daughter, Carol developed a real passion for children’s clothing and found herself shopping for Bella, but not for herself. In the spring of 2010, with snow falling until June, Carol had extra time on her hands and found some unexpected inspiration while watching Bella and her friends go from dressing up for tea parties to playing in puddles. She then began sewing dresses and skirts for all of these little girls and Belle Petite was born.
Belle Petite is designed for little ones who want to look “girly” with roomy silhouettes that allow for all types of play. And, what little girl doesn’t always want to look her best at all times? Being a tomboy no longer requires dressing like one.
The Belle Petite collection is all about when Durable meets Adorable, which Carol describes as “adurable.”
