Spring Pronoun Activities
Here is a spring-themed packet for targeting pronouns. You can use these activities to work on receptive or
expressive language skills.
Page 2: Pronoun Board- Use the prompts on page 3 to have students identify the correct picture. Students could also tell
each other which picture to identify in order to work on using pronouns expressively. This activity targets the subject
pronouns “he” and “she.”
Page 3: Pronoun Board Prompts
Pages 4-7: Subject Pronoun Picture Cards- 24 cards that target the subject pronouns “he,” “she,” and “they.” Have your
students complete the sentence on the card using the correct pronoun.
Pages 8-12: Object Pronoun Activity- Use the 24 spring pictures with the worksheets provided to target the pronouns “him,”
“her” and “them.” You can use the suggested prompts to practice following directions that contain object pronouns or
have your students construct sentences that contain object pronoun like “I gave the ______ to him.”
Pages 13-16: Pronoun Barrier Game- You get a spring scene and 8 pictures of children. You can give your students
directions about where to place the children in the scene to target following directions with pronouns or use this like a
traditional barrier game and have students use pronouns to describe where they place each picture.
