    SupervisionParents or guardians of minors are responsiblefor dropping off and picking up their childrenpromptly at the facility.EligibilityAll township residents are eligibile to participatein all programs, assuming the participant meetsthe age or grade criteria outlined. Whereavailable, non-residents may participate incertain programs for an additional fee.Financial AssistanceThe Department of Parks and Recreation offersreduced fee registration for children who areeligible under the guidelines of the FederalSubsidized Lunch Program.     Refund Policy

    The Department of Parks and Recreationreserves the right to cancel, alter, supplement,limit registration or change any dates, times,locations, ages, fees or any other informationlisted. There will be NO REFUNDS of anyregistration fees unless the program is canceledby the department.

    Therapuetic Recreation Partnership

    We have a cooperative agreement with the SomersetCounty Park Commission's Therapeutic RecreationDepartment (TR) to provide lesiure and recreationopportunities for children and adults who have adevelopmental disability. We and TR recognizes theneed for all individuals to participate actively inrecreational and lesiure activities to promote health,fitness, and well-being.     Spring Soccer League

    April 11 - June 20

    Pee Wee League

    Ages 3 and 4An introductory soccer league for children. Sessionswill be held on Saturdays in the morning or earlyafternoon. Teams will practice for approximately 30minutes and a short modified game will follow. Thisprogram ends May 16.Location: Flagtown AnnexFee: $70.00

    Kindergarten - 2nd Grades

    Emphasis on fundamentals through practices andgame play. Teams practice for one hour followed bya one hour, small-sided game. Sessions held onSaturdays with an optional additional training sessionduring the week.Location: Singley ParkKindergarten/TP: 12:00pm - 2:00pm1st & 2nd Grade: 9:30am - 11:30amFee: $100.00

    3rd Grade - 12th Grades

    Our swim lessons are an excellent way to get your child acquainted with the water. Qualifed andenthusiastic instructors from the Hillsborough YMCA teach your child the skills needed to be asuccessful swimmer. With a small instructor to student ratio and different levels of classes, each

    child will learn new skills quickly.

    Parent / ChildAge: 6 months to 36 monthsFor the little fish in your life. Basic skills are taught tochildren to help them adjust to the aquaticenvironment so they become comfortable in thewater. The learning process is directed through theparents, and parents or guardians are expected to bein the pool with their child.Safe water entry, comfort in the water, swimmingsafety, front and back floats, and submerging theface in the water are all aspects of this level.Day Time FeeTuesdays 9:00am - 9:30am $120Thursdays 10:30am - 11:00am $120

    Swim Lesson Information

    The session starts on April 13 and runs through June 21. There will be no classes on May 25 (Memorial Day).Monday classes have 9 meetings; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday classes have 10 meetings.To keep instructor to child ratios low, each class has a maximum enrollment limit. Please register early toguarantee your spot in the class you wish.Classes are conducted in the therapy pool at the Hillsborough YMCA.

    This spring, we will be offering tennis lessons for children and adults. Get a head start on learning or tuningup your game for the summer. These classes are offered at a variety of ability levels. Taught in smallgroups, participants in these classes are guaranteed plenty of instruction and activity throughout each class.Please bring a racket. If you do not have a racket, there will be rackets for you to try before purchasing one.

    Adult Lessons
