ELIGIBILITY-Participants must be a resident of one of the following counties:Audrain, Boone, Cole, Callaway, Camden, Cooper, Howard,Miller, Moniteau, Osage or Randolph. Entries are subject torejection at any time (including during the Championship). Thereason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct. Entries

limited to 144 participants.

-Championship Division entries are open to amateur golfers wishing to compete in a 54-hole stroke play tournament with a cut after 36 holes.

ENTRIES: Form, fee and closing dateEntrants shall apply on attached form or on line at http://columbiagolffoundation.org. Copies are acceptable. Entry fee shall be paid by every applicant on or before August 7, 2018, 5:00 P.M. Entry fee will not be refunded after the close of entries.

TEESAll participants in the Championship Division shall play from theChampionship tees, Senior & Net Division shall play from theMiddle tees. Super Seniors shall play from the forward tees. Tee locations are determined by the Championship Committee.

HIGH SCHOOL GOLFERSApplicants still in High School are eligible to participate, but may not receive prize money. Therefore, they shall pay an entry fee of $50.

PRACTICE PRIVILEGESEntry fee does not include a practice round or cart.

GOLF BALLSOnly brands of golf balls on the 2018 USGA conforming ball list may be used.

RULES OF GOLFPlay will be governed by rules of golf as approved by the USGA. Questions shall be settled by the Rules Chairman, whose decision shall be final.

DISCONTINUANCE OF PLAYRule 6-8b details the procedure for discontinuance of play. The penalty for a breach of Rule 6-8b is disqualification. However, it is a condition of the competition that, in potentially dangerous situations, play shall be discontinued immediately following a suspension of play by the Committee. If a player fails to discontinue play immediately, he shall be disqualified unless circumstances warrant waiving such penalty as provided in Rule 33-7. An immediate suspension of play will be signaled by a prolonged note of the siren.-Discontinue Play Immediately: One prolonged note of siren.-Resume Play: Two short notes of siren, repeated.

RAIN OUT POLICYEvery attempt will be made to complete each days play. However, inthe event that the entire field does not complete play before foulweather interrupts play and it is impossible to complete the round,the entire days play will be canceled and the tournament will be shortened. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.However, if neither of the first two rounds are completed the tournamentwill be canceled and entry fees refunded.

CUTThe field may be cut to approximately 60 total players after 36 holes.

TIESTies for 1st place in each division will be determined by a play-offbeginning on #1, fifteen (15) minutes after the final group has finished.It is the player’s responsibility to be at the play-off at the time ofstarting. Failure to appear will result in disqualification from play-off.All other ties will split prize money.

CONDITIONS, SCHEDULESThe Championship Committee reserves the right to alter theconditions and schedules herein. The decision of the ChampionshipCommittee in any matter shall be final.
