J Transport AreaA newly designed J Transport Area furtherenhances the best image quality in the business.Brushes remove paper dust to improve imagequality. The J Transport area features a larger turning radius to more reliably feed heavyweightpapers at higher speeds.

Paper PathThe paper path plays its part in the DocuColor6060 Digital Color Press’s image quality andspeed. A second vacuum transport accommodatesfaster printing of heavier stocks. A customeradjustable setting allows printers to fine-tuneimage positioning by +/- .6 mm.

FuserThe DocuColor 6060 Digital Color Press’s OilRoll and a new fuser belt solve traditional digitalprinting issues. An additional external heat rolleradds more heat rapidly to fuse images on heavierstocks, contributing to the DocuColor 6060 DigitalColor Press’s outstanding speeds.

Intermediate Belt Transfer AreaA belt tracking sensor determines the exact location of the belt and the location of the image on it. Uniform image transfer density and consistent inboard and outboard roller pressureyield excellent output.

Toner Load While RunYou don’t have to stop the DocuColor 6060 to loadmore toner. The reservoir holds enough toner to produce 5,000 prints while you load new toner canisters.

The DocuColor 6060 Digital ColorPress’s gold corotron wires diminish sensitivity tohumidity and air contaminants. Electrostatic brushesin the Drum Module thoroughly clean the drumbetween images and yield pristine printed images.Marks on Belt (MOB) assure exact placement of onecolor on top of another on the intermediate belt.Color-to-color registration is superb.

DFA ComplianceDocument Finishing Architecture (DFA) is a standard interface which defines the logical andphysical connections that allow third-party devices to connect to the DocuColor 6060. This opens theDocuColor 6060 up to a wide range of potential third-party finishing devices, such as booklet makers andbinders, which can expand the product offerings toyour customers. We’ve done the homework for youon the Horizon® ColorWorks® 2000 and 8000 BookletMakers and Document Binder DB120-D, all DFA-compliant devices.
