IDP Amputee Project Report & Appeal

Dear Friends, With your support, we have forever changed the lives of thousands in need, helping to save lives and to improve quality of life. Working through local partner organizations that understand their own communities well and are passionate about service and creating positive, lasting change, IMHO has been able to address serious health and medical needs. We are encouraged by your generosity and commitment to our mission, and we know that with you behind us, we will be able to do so much more. While we are excited to note the growth of our organization, we are deeply saddened by the ongoing situation in Sri Lanka and the suffering of those around the world who are in dire need of relief, medical & health care, and other support. We are proud to share with you our achievements this year in our 2009 IMHO Annual Report, which you can access online here: http://www.theimho.org/publications/newsletters/226-2009-annual-report But the reality is that we have just begun to scratch the surface in addressing the needs of the communities we serve. We need your help in spreading the word about IMHO, in opening new chapters in your state or city, in networking us with valuable contacts, and so much more. Please email the IMHO Programs Coordinator at coordinator@theimho.org to discuss your involvement. Some of the ways you can get involved with IMHO include:

• Host or plan a fundraiser in your area • Network on our behalf • Offer your professional services • Turn an anniversary, birthday, or other celebration into a fundraiser for IMHO • Get involved with a local chapter of IMHO or start a new chapter in your area • Spread the word about our work • List IMHO as a charity on your wedding registry • Attend an event or presentation • Join our mailing list • Or any other idea you may have!
