Discover Thailand and Hong Kong with the Abbotsford Chamber
After two successful trips to China, the Abbotsford Chamber has selected the exotic destinations of Thailand and Hong Kong for its next discovery adventure. Departing March 12, 2016, this 9 day trip will visit Bangkok’s Golden Palace, relax on Coral Island’s beaches, enjoy the Peak views in Hong Kong and so much more!
“The response from our travelers on previous trips was so enthusiastic to join us again that we searched to fi nd a diff erent location to discover,” said Chamber
Executive Director Allan Asaph. “We want to maintain the same high standard of experiences, accommodation, food, safety and service that our travelers enjoyed in the past.”
After arriving in Bangkok the tour starts with an excursion to the Golden Palace, Emerald Buddha Temple and the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall before leaving for the seaside area of Pattaya. The next day will feature the beautiful beaches of Coral Island and Nong Nooch, site of the largest botanical garden in Southeast Asia.
The afternoon will include an elephant ride and a visit to the Pattaya Four Regions Floating Market to learn about the Thai way of life.
It’s back to Bangkok the next day for some shopping and additional sightseeing including a day at Ayuthaya, a ruined city built in 1350AD that was once the capital of Siam. A dinner cruise is available as an optional adventure.
After that comes Hong Kong with the incredible views of the city and Victoria Harbour from the Peak, accessed by
the Peak Tram started in 1888. The itinerary will also include Ngong Ping 360 adventure park, Repulse Bay beach, the fi shing village of Stanley and free time to explore.
The trip includes round-trip international airfare, 4 & 5 star hotel accommodation, 3 meals per day, deluxe bus transportation, english speaking guides and admissions to tours and attractions. The Chamber is also providing return bus transportation from Abbotsford to the Vancouver Airport. In addition, Chamber
staff will be on the tour.The total price of the 9 day
trip for Chamber members is just $2,999, including all fees and taxes. The trip is available to non-Chamber members as well for an additional $150 per person. “About half our travelers are non-members and it is a great opportunity to travel with people from the same community,” said Asaph. “There is a single supplement available for those who wish to travel alone or we will pair you with suitable room-mate.”
The Chamber will be hosting
an information session from 6:00 - 7:30pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 in the Sevenoaks Boardroom, 2nd Floor, Sevenoaks Shopping Centre.
