What is meant by speaking?

Speaking is the ability to say things and express ....thoughts aloud

It’s the productive skill in the oral mode. It, like the other skills, is more complicated than it seems at first and involves more than just pronouncing words. Speaking is very important for students. Through speaking they can exchange everyday information, ideas, opinion, narrate a story, make a rehearsed oral presentation, use correct intonation and stress, and maintain conversation.

Difficulties in speaking exercises in E4P

Most of speaking exercises in E4P are suitable for the level of

the students. However there are some

difficult dialogues .conversations for

the students

There is a variety of speaking exercises in SB such as "Look and say" ,“Match and say", “Say", "Play a game", “Choose and colour . say"," Count and write . say“ , and " Listen and say".

The variety of exercises of all stages in E4P:

IN grade 5&6&7 more variety than grade 8&9 for example: ask and answer ,act out ,say what happen ,talk about, listen and sayIn grade 8&9 after language and speaking or listening and speaking, you can find discuss, work with a partner ,talk about.

Why do we have poor speakers of English??

1 -Dense curriculum

2 -Teachers focus on Vocabulary and Grammar.

3 -Final exams focus only on one type of speaking questions.

4 -Students don’t practice speaking .
