Lawrence Anthony and Graham Spence

THE LAST RHINOS ISBN: 9781447203803

Lawrence Anthony's South African game reserve is home to many animalshe has saved, from a remarkable herd of elephants to a badly behavedbushbaby called George. A HUNDRED HORIZONS ISBN: 9780674032194

On December 26, 2004, giant tsunami waves destroyed communitiesaround the Indian Ocean, from Indonesia to Kenya. Beyond the horrific death toll, this wall of water brought a telling reminder of the interconnectedness of the many countries on the ocean rim, and the insignificance of national boundaries. "A Hundred Horizons" takes us tothese shores, in a brilliant reinterpretation of how culture developed andhistory was made at the height of the British raj.
