going to look a lot different than it does today.office of the
future PSFK Labs, a trends and workplace consultancy with clients
including Apple, BMW and Nike, just published a new report, The
Future Of The Workplace, that predicts how this will look. PSFK
LabsAppleBMWNikeThe Future Of The Workplace In short, offices will
be very mobile with high information flow from the top down. And
they'll also look a lot different, with sound-proof pods instead of
cubicles, and TED-inspired meeting spaces. We caught up with Piers
Fawkes, president and founder of PSFK briefly about the report,
which includes 1,200 data points from experts, creative agencies
and other sources. "Im really interested in the idea of talent on
demand," he tells us. "Staffing in a company needs to be flexible
and the office needs to be adaptive. Using algorithms to
efficiently manage staff within the organization is all about
efficiency and productivity."about the report Read more:

minutes you discover. Extra time at work is not free time and
should never be used for personal reasons. Provide help to others.
Jump in and help others when they need help. Volunteering to help a
coworker builds your credibility and gives you the freedom to ask
for help if you need it in the future. Be on time to meetings. Your
lateness will be noticed and will damage your credibility. In
addition, you may miss important information that gives others
attending the meeting an advantage over you. Fine-tune your
attitude on a regular basis. The way you approach things (your
attitude) is very important. If you want people to follow you as a
leader, they need to like your attitude. Always provide a little
extra to each job or project. There's no magic formula to success,
but adding a little extra will make you stand out. Bosses remember
and reward those who give more than is required.
