Solutions in Lighting

Pace XL – Classically designed, simple andcost effective lay-in fluorescent luminaires forexposed tee ceilings, with a wide choice ofseparate lift & tilt louvre and prismaticcontroller attachments.

Combi – A lay-in luminaire which can be usedin both 15mm and 24mm exposed teeceilings, avoiding grid size mix ups, that issupplied as a body and attachment in one boxfor easy ordering and on site storage

Combi Fast Fix – All the benefits of Combi butwith an ingenious plug and play electricalconnection, allowing competent interiorcontractors to complete the installation withthe exception of the final electricalconnection. Fast Fix is supplied withattachment and lamps already fitted and witha protective low tack clear film which keepsthe luminaire clean until ready for projecthand over. Combi Fast Fix offers exceptionaltime and money saving benefits.

Options - Luminaires are supplied asstandard with switch start control gear. Allcan be supplied with energy saving HighFrequency (HF) control gear which, thanks toelectronic advances, now costs much lessthan previously. HF gear consumes lesspower than conventional gear, reducingenergy bills. It also offers the benefits oflonger lamp life, instant start and flicker free,silent operation.

As an alternative to louvres, luminaires canbe ordered with prismatic controllers. CPDoffer two options. For general use use TP(b)prismatic controllers. For luminaires ondesignated emergency routes, emergencyconverted luminaires and to meet specificrequirements of the Building Regulations Part B, TP(a) prismatic controllers must beused. Service is also important and all customershave the benefit of access to Dextra’s adviceand Lighting Design service. In the unlikelyevent of a technical problem, Dextra’sCustomer Service department offer full peaceof mind.

All luminaires are designed andmanufactured in Dextra’s facility in Dorset,using the latest high technology methods,including robotic assembly.

Louvre attachments are designed to complywith the latest requirements for interior officeand general purpose environments.

Products are made in accordance with BSEN 60598 and Dextra are registered toISO9001:2000 quality standards. In houseEMC testing ensures that all products are CEmarked and preparation has been made forthe proposed introduction of the WasteElectrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)directive.

Designed for today's fast paced and costconscious projects, Combi Fast-Fix savestime on installation and remains in pristinecondition, even after other building tradeshaving finished their work.

Combi Fast-Fix includes a number ofingenious features. The luminaire is suppliedcomplete in one box with lamps andattachments already fitted behind a clearprotective plastic film.

The body design allows installation onto both15mm and 24mm grid. An integral panelmounted socket permits fast and simpleelectrical connection, which can be undertakenby any competent ceiling installer, with onlythe final electrical connection and circuitcontrol wiring requiring an electrical engineer.

The interconnecting wiring looms and teepieces are all supplied four pole so thatemergency lighting conversions can beincorporated anywhere in the installation.

When the installation is complete and readyfor hand over, the protective film is simplypeeled away, leaving a pristine luminairerequiring no post installation cleaning.
