Electrical systems installed on ships often have to meet special require-ments – This applies especially for electrical installations. The compre-hensive and ISO 9001 quality tested OBO product range assures safesolutions for the most diverse requirements. All marine cable trays andcable ladders for shipbuilding meet the specifications of DIN EN 61537“Cable management – Cable tray systems and cable ladder systems”,and take into account the building regulations of Germanischer Lloydand the IEC. In addition, the OBO cable ladders are certified by DNV-GLand RINA. In the field of fire sealing’s OBO has a system with the fire res-istance class A60, with excellent properties certified by GermanischerLloyd.

Exact processing
The OBO cable ladders are char-acterized by a burr-free perforationand high-precision welds madewith automated manufacturing. Thelow weight is achieved by the siderail punching and brings advant-ages for assembly and transport.The OBO cable ladders are avail-able with types of rungs: intrapezoidal shape or Z-shape fortwo-sided cable routing. A straightconnection is also possible whenthe cable ladders get cut.
Materials for highestrequirements
By using the SIGMA-WELD 199welding primer the OBO cable lad-ders reach an extremely high cor-rosion resistance. They are onlymanufactured of highest qualitymaterials: stainless steel or alu-minum, welding primed or hot-dipgalvanized.
Coherent systemaccessories
For easy installation fasteningstraps are available as rolls or inprefabricated lengths as well astightening tools. Matching con-struction and suspension profilescomplete the system.

In shipbuilding cable and pipepenetrations in decks and bulk-heads must be sealed to meet thehigh demands on water and gastightness and the fire resistance.
Here the sealing compound sys-tem PYROLIQ® is used: with exist-ing on-site materials the frameworkfor the sealing will be created andafter the installation of cables andpipes with a few hand's touch filledwith the components of thePYROLIQ® system. The sealing’sare up to 60 minutes fire-resistant,watertight to a pressure of 2.5 barand gas-tight to 30 mbar.
