Based on the accurate mixing of high purity nitrogen and ammonia with or withoutnitrous oxide or carbon dioxide, ALNAT N gives a constant atmosphere’scomposition and produces reproducible results on parts.Nitrous Oxide or Carbon Dioxide acts as an activator of the nitriding reaction.
