    The State Government of Andhra Pradesh through A.P. Govt. Act No.30 of2008 has separated the erstwhile NT! into four di"erent !niversities vi#.$

    NT !niversit% Anantapur$ NT !niversit% &a'inada$ NT !niversit%(%dera)ad and NA*+A !niversit% (%dera)ad.

    JNT University Anantapur started functioning from the ,,- acrescampus of one of its onstituent ollege at Anantapur$ since August/

    2008. As a )udding !niversit% it is committed to develop and nurture aTechnical ducation S%stem in the four districts of 1a%alaseema vi#.$Anantapur$ hittoor$ S1$ &urnool districts and SPS1 Nellore district whichwould produce s'illed man power of high ualit% compara)le to the )estin the world and in adeuate num)ers to meet the comple4 technologicalneeds of the econom%.

    JNTUAat present$ has an average power demand of around 800 '5 andpea' demand of ,.2 65 and imports grid power from 7S96 at ,, ':su)station.

    The data acuisition s%stem shall also communicate with the string

    com)iner )o4es for monitoring of each string of SP: arra%s.

    manufacturers wor's=premises prior to dispatch$ to ensure that their ualit%* wor'manship are in conformit% with the contract speci;cations and

    approved drawings.

    The ontractor shall furnish the ualit% assurance plan for euipmentseparatel% with suggestive stages and hold points for underta'ing inspectionand testing )% the mplo%er. Total list of plant * euipment of the order shall)e su)mitted to the mplo%er prior to su)mission of UAP

    The mplo%er reserves the right to visit at an% stage of manufacture of plant

    The ontractor shall construct and maintain his own site oIces and

    stores as reuired for the wor' and arrange for maintaining in the areaplaced at the ontractor/s disposal in a neat manner.

    The ontractor shall provide his scheme for mo)ili#ation with Har hart

    indicating clearl% the resources$ manpower and machiner% proposed to

    )e deplo%ed to ensure timel% completion of wor' and ualit% of

    wor'manship

    9n reuest$ the mplo%er ma% help the ontractor )% providing an%

    special handling=construction euipment needed in the interest of wor'

    su)>ect to availa)ilit% and on pa%ment of hire charges and other

    conditions of mplo%er. The charges shall )e recovered from an% )ill ofthe ontractor due immediatel% thereafter.All safet%$ health and pollution control measures as reuired to )eadopted as per the Statutor% 1egulations and the Safet% conditions forontractors issued along with the tender or otherwise reuired or implied)% statutor% regulations or practices shall )e strictl% followed )% theontractor during the e4ecution of the ontract.     The ontractor shall rectif% the defects o)served during the

    ommissioning period promptl%. successfull% commissioning as )e accepted if the complete s%stem

    remains s%nchroni#ed with the grid for a period of @8 hours without an%

    distur)ance or interruption. 7uring this period the s%stem shall generatepower during sunshine hours and e4port power to the grid and duringdar' hours shall remain s%nchroni#ed with the grid. f there is an outageisolation from the grid during this period due to defects in the s%stem$then commissioning period shall start afresh after recti;cation of the saiddefect. (owever if the am)ient or the grid parameter are )e%ond thespeci;ed limits if an% shall not )e considered as stoppage.

    The ommissioning and pro>ect completion certi;cate shall )e issued )%

    5< TRA$N$N

    ontractor personnel who are e4perienced instructors and who spea'understanda)le nglish shall conduct training. The ontractor shallarrange on its own cost all training platform reuired for successfultraining and understanding. The ontractor shall provide all necessar%

    training material. ach trainee shall receive individual copies of alltechnical manuals and all other documents used for training.
