Society of Royal Cumberland Youths The Lockdown Challenge There are five parts to the challenge: 1. Name the tower 2. Ringing Round(s) – ringing related questions 3. General Round – general knowledge questions 4. Ringing Anagrams – all things ringing (methods, fittings, people, places and events) 5. The Hidden Anagram – Letters will have to be gathered throughout parts 1-4 (instruction below). Use these letters to solve the final anagram. Instruction For applicable pictures or questions, guidance will specify the number of letters in each word of the answer. The special letter required for round 5 will be numbered at the end in red. Example 1. (2,5,11 – 5) Answer: 1. St James, Clerkenwell T’s & C’s Completed challenges to be submitted to the Junior Steward at [email protected] by 30 June 2020. Results and answers will be distributed shortly after closing date. The winner will be the highest scoring submission received. In the case of a tie the winner will be the first submission received of that scoring (including full marks). The prize for the winning entry is a pint from the Junior Steward when the pub reopens along with the satisfaction of seeing your name in lights in a future update. Please do share with other members of your tower or branch who may find it interesting. Good luck!
