Congratulations! Subsequent to the completion of our assessment process, we are pleased to inform

that you have been provisionally selected for admission to the Young Engineers Program (YEP) offered

by Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited.

For the batch starting in June 2013, the admissions will be granted on First-Come-First-Serve basis and

hence, to reserve your seat in this batch, you are required to make a non-refundable payment of INR

20,000/- favoring Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., payable at Noida through Demand Draft /

Cheque within next seven working days of receiving the offer letter. This amount will be adjusted

against the total program fee payable by you towards the YEP.

Please print, fill-in and sign the enclosed Acceptance of Admission Offer and Declaration Form and

submit the same in original along with the Demand Draft / Cheque of INR 20,000/- within seven working

days to the Admission Representative at your Assessment Centre or as directed by admission

representative to reserve your seat in the YEP.

DECLARATION

I, ____________________________________, having complied with the prescribed formalities for being

a part of the YOUNG ENGINEERS PROGRAM (YEP) offered by Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.

(a subsidiary of HCL Corporation Private Limited), declare and affirm as under:

1. I understand that I have been made this offer of admission on the basis that the particulars

furnished by me in my application, resume or any other document are factually correct. If, at any

time before or after the start of the program, it transpires that I have made a false statement (or

have not disclosed a material fact) resulting in my admission into this program, my admission

shall be rendered null and void ab initio and thus liable to be terminated forthwith. I also

understand that in such an event, the full fee deposited by me will be forfeited and will not be

refunded and I will not be considered for any certifications provided by Slocum Management

Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.

2. I have passed my graduation as an Engineer (i.e. B.E/B. Tech etc.) with greater than or equal to

60% marks and with no standing arrears and I have secured greater than or equal to 60% marks

in my class 10th and 12th standard final examinations.

3. I understand that the course fee for 9 months YEP is INR 1.5 Lacs (Service Tax extra) and the cost

of residential facility for the 9 months period is INR 48,000/- over and above.

4. I understand that it is a fully residential 9 months program which will be conducted at Plot No. CP

3, Sector 8, Technopark, IMT Manesar, Gurgaon, Haryana– 122051 and I also understand that I

am not allowed to stay outside the company provided accommodation throughout the program

for 9 months.

5. I understand that after 9 months, I will need to vacate Slocum provided residential facility and I

will need to arrange for housing on my own at my posting location.

6. I understand that a laptop would be an essential item required for the successful completion of

the program, and I will arrange for it on my own.

7. I understand that I would be given a maximum of two chances to clear the final examination, to

be declared as a successful candidate from the YEP program and that if I don’t clear the exam

even at my second attempt, I will be declared unsuccessful in the YEP program and that I will not

get employment with Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.

8. I understand that I also need to clear business and professional skills training in addition to

technical training, failing which I may still be declared unsuccessful.

9. I understand that decision on allocation of specialization tracks will be taken by the Slocum

Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.

10. I understand that Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. will only sponsor my first attempt at

external certification as defined by the respective tracks (which would be one of either CCNA,

Red Hat Certified System Administrator, Oracle Solaris 10 System Administrator, Windows Server

2008, Server Administrator based on my track). The cost of any further attempts will not be

borne by Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. And will need to be borne by me.

11. I understand that in case I decide to drop out of the program in the midst of the 9 months YEP

Program, the full fee deposited by me will be forfeited and will not be refunded and I will not be

considered for any certifications provided by Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.

12. I understand that Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. shall be entitled to terminate my

training forthwith, without any notice and any time, in the event of any act of dishonesty,

disobedience, insubordination, revealing confidential material to any other party, misconduct or

indiscipline. In this case the full fee deposited by me will be forfeited and will not be refunded

and I will not be considered for any certifications provided by Slocum Management Consultancy

Pvt. Ltd.

13. I understand that I will be appointed as an Associate Graduate Engineer Trainee in Slocum

Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. only on successful completion of the 9 months fully

residential YEP program and that I would be offered an annual CTC of INR 2 Lacs per annum.

14. I understand that while I can express my preferences for the work location, the decision taken by

Slocum Management consultancy Pvt. Ltd. in this regard as per the business needs would be final

and binding on me.

15. I understand that I have to sign an 27 months training cum service agreement (worth INR

1,25,000/-) with Slocum Management Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. at the time of enrolment into YEP

which will be effective from the start date of the program with Slocum Management Consultancy

Pvt. Ltd.

16. I understand that I will be on probation for a period of 15 months post my joining Slocum

Management consultancy Pvt. Ltd. as an employee and only after that, and on the basis of my

performance during the 15 months’ period; I may be confirmed as Associate Graduate Engineer.
