The Octavia RS model can be easily identifi ed by the RS badge on the front grille as well as the ferocious sports expression lent by the Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights and black backfi ll. However, the sports styling and strong sense of attraction do not rule each other out. Those seeking to underline the elegance of the model and balance the expression of dynamics and competitiveness will be enticed by the front grille frame in the standard chrome design. The frame perfectly complements the characteristic robust front bumper.

The rear lights, illumination of which creates a double C letter, are equipped with energy effi cient LED diodes.(The photo shows the liftback version.)

The 5th door bears the Octavia modelname badge as well as the RS logo.(The photo shows the combi version.)

The RS logo on the rear forms another distinctive detail of this sports model. The liftback version features a 5th door spoiler, which increases the stability of the vehicle at faster speeds.

The black backfi ll of the Bi-Xenon headlamps is an

unmistakeable detail of all RS models. The fog lamps in the RS design, which perfectly fi t

the dynamic concept of the model’s front, are located at the edges of the lower part

of the front bumper.

The glossy black roof railings of the combi version are available as part of the optional Black package. The combi version can feature the electrically-controlled 5th door.

The 3-spoke sports multifunctional steering wheel, wrapped in perforated leather with grey or red stitching and adorned with an original RS plaque, enables control of the radio, phone and automatic DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox). The electromechanical power steering with variable transmission allows for sporty driving as well as comfortable control in city traffi c or while parking. The XDS system, which enables better acceleration in turns, comes as part of the ESC (Electronic Stability Control).

The noble steel foot pedal covers are yet

another stylish detail of the Octavia RS model.

The Performance Mode Selection in the RS model includes the Perfomance Sound Generator function, which allows the setting of sound, in accordance with the selected engine mode (normal/eco/sport), enabling the driver to enjoy a sports engine expression during dynamic driving or, at the other end of the spectrum, a calm sound in the eco mode.

The instrument panel in the RS design has a clearly legible white interface. It can be equipped with an attractive Maxi DOT colour display with a LapTimer.

The leather details, such as the gear stick knob with an RS logo and the handbrake handle, are very pleasant to touch. The sleeve features grey or red stitching.

If you prefer all-leather upholstery, you can opt for the interior in a combination of leather/artifi cial leather, which is available with red or grey double stitching.

The interior in a combination of fabric/leather/artifi cial leather with red or grey stitching comes as standard. All RS models further come with sports front seats and integrated headrests.

All RS models feature red callipers as standard.

The multimedia bracket located in the centre console is not only a practical accessory but also a safe place for transporting your iPod, mobile phone etc.

Another Simply Clever detail is located under both front seats where you can fi nd a special pocket for a refl ective vest, ensuring the vest is immediately within reach if you need it.

A USB/Aux-in connection is located on the centre panel and enables you to connect an external appliance and control it with the radio, navigation system or multifunctional steering wheel buttons.

When you need to display a parking ticket in a visible place under the windscreen, the solution is simple. The car is equipped with a parking ticket holder.

You will fi nd a 1.5-l bottle holder in a spacious compartment in the front door. This is also where you can place a removable waste basket that will help you keep the interior clean.

The Octavia RS offers an exceptionally large luggage compartment. Inside, you’ll fi nd a practical double foldable hook, which you can use to keep full shopping bags upright.

Probably everyone has the occasional need to load dirty luggage. The double-sided carpet in the luggage compartment is determined for such cases. You can use the carpet with the elegant fabric side up when not transporting anything that might make your car dirty, and can easily turn it over to utilise the washable rubber side when required.

The rear seats can be folded using a remote release button located in the luggage compartment of both the liftback and combi version, which will make loading the car even more effortless.

The practical pocket under the roll cover of the luggage compartment of the combi version can serve as a safe storage place for items that you would like to transport separately from other objects in the luggage compartment.

The net programme consists of one horizontal and two vertical nets, which improves the variability of your luggage compartment. Both vertical nets are double-sided and can hold various small articles. In addition, we also offer you a net under the luggage compartment cover for the liftback version.

The green ice scraper, mounted on the fuel cap, is within reach if you need it and it’s not a problem to replace it there when wet. Another Simply Clever solution is protection against incorrect fuel fi lling, designated for cars with a diesel engine.

The mid-level luggage compartment fl oor of the combi version facilitates easier luggage handling by placing the bottom of the compartment on the level of the loading edge. In addition, it provides a special storage space for transporting the roll cover or roof rack when it’s not needed or in the way. Alternatively, it can serve as a discreet storage area.

The exhaust pipe end pieces in glossy black fi nish have been specially tuned to produce the engine’s characteristic sporty sound.
