March Skies The sky bundle chart reaches its max (110 degrees front to back) early on after which Venus passing Uranus begins the summer-bound expansion when the Sun and inner planets move out of the middle-and-outer-planet pocket of only 100 degrees. But with Mercury going direct after the first week, it’s all planets direct again with Mars the rising edge of the pack until mid-month, when Jupiter replaces it there. A full-tilt, don’t-look-behind-you (or ahead, either) mad dash of the whole celestial crew, with similar reflections in human activity below. It’s also a big Mars month on another front, as that planet crosses first Jupiter, then Pluto, and finally Saturn, three hard-hitting conjunctions that will no doubt spell energetic power moves in every quarter. Fierce expansion, dogged determination, and intractable conflicts are the order of the month, so unless you’re willing to go for broke in a single endeavor it’s probably a good time to stay out of fights and let adversaries wear each other out with Pyrrhic victories before putting your foot into the fray to sweep over weakened remains. Finally, in the last week Saturn makes its first tentative step into Aquarius and tramples down the degree of the coming Jupiter-Saturn conjunction, so expect to see foreshocks of the coming 2020 power changes, a hint of what’s in store at year’s end when the whole world readjusts itself to resolving the conflicts and polarization of the last few years, going into the new decade with a new way of doing things that will call the shots for years to come. Original tastes and sudden desires decorate the day, marking a change of pace for anyone with an adventurous heart. Eschew the ordinary and go for something off the wall, not off the shelf. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it. New sensations will be a major focus of startups, leaders in a new sensibility. 09 Mar 01:48 pm EDT Full Moon in Virgo This "Worm" Moon has more than the usual craziness of full Moon, it also has an in-and-out-of-focus quality that can change from moment to moment. Just when you think you've got things pinned down, life goes into soft focus and you forget your line and have to wing it. It's really hard to script what's going on, so maybe you shouldn't try too hard, and certainly don't insist others toe the line, as they're having the same issues. What you bring out of this period will be better intuitive communication and a better understanding of just how unreliable preset cues can be. It's less about saying what you mean, more about meaning what you say - even if it isn't all that clear, it can still get across. 09 Mar 11:41 pm EDT Mercury Stationary Direct Several weeks of greater confusion than you'd have liked are on their way out and you can get back to what you were doing with a bit more confidence and sense of purpose. Getting roadblocks out of the way allows you to chart a surer course and feel better about what you are doing and what kind of commitments you can make and live up to. Red herrings and detours can be put behind you as you get back onto a map everybody can buy into. The cost of delays and uncertainties is made up for by knowing that they no longer impede and that you can now throttle up and get on some real speed. 16 Mar 03:43 am EDT Putting the right phrase to the task is not the focus for the next few weeks - so if you're at a loss for words, join the party. But words aren't everything, and those slippery concepts that emerge right now can yet be pounced upon when the time is right, like a cat on a mouse, and nailed to the ground. Just mind your mind in the meantime. 19 Mar 11:50 pm EDT There's a fairly sudden shift of energy as a month of urgency begins, painting a patina of action and purpose on a previously passive environmental palette. Patience and gestation won't do anymore, time to get up and go - but exactly where to may be the puzzle. Preventing premature detonation while delivering a timely bombshell is the challenge of the month ahead. 20 Mar 07:35 am EDT Boundless energy and enthusiasm can overwhelm, like a herd of runners all attempting the hundred-yard dash. You may want to think about not joining that herd but siphoning off some of the energy around you in a more reasoned way. Overweening eagerness lacks staying power, but ardor can be a thrill when channeled. 22 Mar 00:00 am EDT The next couple of years do not hold much promise for those who have entrenched

themselves in commonness. The one-sizefits- all philosophy will see some serious setbacks as quality and quantity part company and leveling bureaucratic structures get shaken up and shaken down. If you've been tending to your own business, this fortunately won't include you. 23 Mar 01:14 am EDT Why hit a carpet tack with a hammer when you can use a pile driver? That's the philosophy in the air, so you'll likely see a lot of overkill going on at every level. Diplomacy is for wimps, hit 'em with both barrels. A good time for it, where a high level of force is truly necessary, but choose your shots and don't waste ammunition. 24 Mar 05:29 am EDT New Moon in Aries This first New Moon of the astrological year is all about bounding out from the starting line the instant the signal is given. The early bird definitely gets the worm and the race is to the fleet, especially those exactly and promptly off the mark. Sharing is fine, but it's leadership that counts right now, let the others fall in line as the race develops. If sudden acceleration isn't your thing, don't pull a muscle trying to sprint, because those who try too hard will find themselves flagging and out of steam all too soon. Being the leader of the pack in the first furlong often means you won't stay there, but impressive starts can make the rest of the run easy if you've got what it takes. Take the initiative, or at least ride the slipstream of the next ahead of you. 30 Mar 03:43 pm EDTIt's all about distribution of energy right now, laying out a map of everything that might need tending to and allocating for it. That's the general wisdom, anyway, but if you're on a focused or fast track, you could put aside a lot of fuel you'll never use for tasks you'll never do, thus sidelining resources. Don't be a follower, make your own decisions. 31 Mar 02:32 pm EDT A lot of people may be running out of steam right now, but those who are keeping up establish a pace that just won't quit. Conservation of energy and using only just what you need to get the job done is the lesson to be learned, and operations begun now will be long-term marathon performers. Banked fires burn hot.
