HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH in Marietta has an immediate opening for a full-time Youth Minister. This per- son will be responsible for faith development and social programs for grades 9 through 12. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic on fire for the Lord; has a degree in theology, psychology, education, sociology, or other relevant field; Catechist cer- tification (or is actively working toward certification); and hands-on experience leading or co-leading a Catholic youth ministry program. NEWS AT LOURDES HABITAT FOR HUMANITY Lourdes will build their 19th house this year with Habitat for Humanity. REVOLUTIONARY WOMEN You are invited to join the historic Ebenezer Bap-tist Church in celebration of Women’s Day Season with the theme Revolution-ary Women: Leading a Revolution of Love, Faith, and Justice, Numbers 27:1-11. LOURDES WOMEN'S COUNCIL will be selling raffle tickets for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cancer Home. The tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The prizes are Full Size Bronze Rocking Horse, a Gift card for a stay at Great Wolf Lodge in North Carolina and $500.00 in Cash. Tickets will be sold after each service the weekends of July 23/24 and August 13/14. Council members will be stationed out-side, near the cafeteria. Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home is the only facility of its kind in the southeast where patients with incurable cancer, can receive excellent and loving care for the duration of their illness, without regard to race or creed.

NATIONAL BLACK ARTS FESTIVAL, SWEET AUBURN WORKS (SAW), the Historic District Development Corporation (HDDC) and the MLK, Jr. National His-toric Site/National Park Service will be holding Atlanta’s first annual Family Day/Culture Fest. This family-centered, free, day-long festival will showcase the histo-ry, heritage, the arts, culture, and stories that have made the Sweet Auburn his-toric district the center of African American culture in Atlanta and one of the most visited areas in all of the United States.
