1970 UNI-COUPLES® 20 TO 30 MILLIVOLTSThe 1970 Series Uni-Couple’s unique design allows for installation to virtually all pilot burners. The versatile zip nut may be posed, pulled or threaded onto the thermocouple’s rolled threads for proper positioning in every application. 1980 SNAP-FIT® THERMOCOUPLESThe 1980 Series Snap-Fit Thermocouples offer easy installation into the majority of pilot burners. Both slim and standard thermocouple types are available in the 1980 Series without complicated adaptors, but with the extra insulation from high ambient temperatures that the brass sheath offers when needed. The 1980 is constructed of the same materials as used in the 1970. See copy above.

1960-027 LOW MASS THERMOCOUPLEThe 1960-027 is a special low-mass or quick dropout ther-mocouple. It is usually found on applications that require an oxygen depletion system on the thermo safety. 630 EUROSITThe 630 Eurosit is a combination gas control with a snap-action modulating thermostat, safety interlock and additional on/off function. The 630 Eurosit does not require electrical sup-ply and is available in a wide range of configu-rations. It is particularly suitable for use in gas space heaters, gas fireplaces, gas log sets, and all appliances that require accurate temperature control. 700 MILLIVOLTThe 700 Millivolt gas valves are wall thermostat actuated combination gas valves. These controls combine a manual gas cock, automatic pilot safety valve and a millivolt operator. The automatic pilot safety is separate from the gas cock and provides gas shutoff in case of pilot outage, regulated and non-regulated models are available (see ordering chart). Standard features include: pilot outlet, pilot gas filter and pilot adjusting key. VALVES CAN BE MOUNTED IN ANY POSITION EXCEPT UPSIDE DOWN. Consult ordering chart for individual control specifica-tions.
IMPORTANT WIRING INFORMATION*Most appliances manufactured in the USA and Canada are manufactured to meet the standards set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). A recent revision in the standards “mis-wiring requirements for gas valves” was effective January 1, 1996. The reason for this standard was so that you as a ser-vice technician could disconnect the gas valve wires and reconnect them without making a mistake. Therefore all Robertshaw millivolt gas valves now have a 1/4” quick connect terminal and a 3/16” quick connect terminal on the terminal block. There is NO terminal screw (or threads) on the side that has the 3/16” terminal. If your old application used a terminal screw, you will need to use the 3/16” adap-tor terminal that is included with the gas valve.
NOTE: Will only work with two-lead thermopiles.
