Biscuit Single Board ComputersThe All-in-one, Compact-sized Embedded SolutionBiscuit SBCs are a family of small sized, highly integrated single board computers designed for all kinds of embedded applications. These units use compact form factors that allow them to fit in the space of a 3.5" HDD or 5.25" CD drive. System integrators use Biscuit SBCs to provide full function solutions within a slim chassis or narrow enclosure. From low power Pentium CPUs to Pentium M and Pentium 4 processors, biscuit SBCs can fulfill a phenomenal array of functions: from wireless interfaces, test equipment, automated kiosks, ATMs, onboard automotive computers to digitized, multimedia applications.

Advantech provides a "total" Biscuit SBC solution for customers. This not only includes the SBC product, but also chassis, power supply and software solutions. Advantech has a dedicated software team that can provide a customized Windows CE or other embedded OS.

Biscuit SBCs epitomize flexibility for a variety of vertical market applications. For example, the PCM-5820, PCM-9371 and PCM-9582 satisfy both entry level requirements and high-performance functions.
