Audition Requirements 1. Major scales up to four sharps and flats and natural minor scales up to
three sharps and flats in two octaves, memorized. 2. Two prepared pieces, one slow and one fast, preferably an etude,
sonata or concerto movement. (An All-State etude may be used as one selection.)
3. Excerpt for Sinfonia, played at marked tempo. 4. Sight reading.

two or three octaves depending on the range of your instrument, memorized.
2. Two prepared pieces, one slow and one fast, preferably from major concertos or sonatas by different composers. (Do not play multiple movements from the same piece or use All-State etudes.)
