Voting period

 ± 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Unless there are voters waiting for their turn to vote

 ± Poll Clerk lists down names voters queuing

 ± Poll Clerk calls voter to cast ballot

 ± Voter who fails to appear after being called twice shall not

longer be allowed to vote

 ± Precinct set up At least 10 voters can cast ballot at any one time

TIPS

Bring out the LIST of your preferredcandidates (CODIGO)

SCAN (BASAHA ANAY) the official ballot (all

the names are there from the president to thecouncilors) and look for your candidates

Once you have located them, start shading the

OVALS before the names of each chosen

candidate. DO NOT WRITE ANYTHING ELSE on

your ballot!

1. The voter shall, using a

ballot secrecy folder andthe marking pen

provided by the

COMELEC, fill his ballot

by fully shading the ovalbeside the names of the

candidates and political

party participating in the

party list system of representation of his

choice.

WARNING

Completely shade the appropriate box of your

choice candidate.

BE CAREFUL in shading the ballot you onlyget ONE BALLOT

Avoid putting a check, a period or point, or an

'X' in the box, and/or any extra marks on the

ballot. Otherwise, some items or worse your

entire ballot will be invalid.

2. The chairman shall apply indelible ink at the

base and extending to the cuticle of the rightforefinger nail of the voter, or any other nail

if there be no forefinger nail.

3. The voter shall affix his thumbmark on the

corresponding space in the EDCVL (election

day computerized voters list).

4. The voter shall then leave the polling place.
