Exaltation of the Cross - We will have Great Vespers witha Litya Monday evening (13th) at 7:00 PM. Divine Liturgy willbe served at 9:30 AM on Tuesday (14th) morning. A potlucklunch & fellowship time will follow - please bring somethinglenten as this Great Feast is always a fasting day.Family Promise - There are a few slots left for October

offering for seminarians Dn. John Black and Bill Rusk. If youwrite a check, please make it payable to St. Michael’s andnote “Seminarian Appeal.”Sunday School - Sunday School for elementary - high
school begins today at ~11:30 AM.
To kick off the Sunday School year and also due to the alreadyactive school year, anyone who teaches or is a student isasked to come up front at the end of Liturgy for a prayer andblessing. This will be after the birthday blessing.Church Open - St. Michael’s will be open from 9:30 AM
until Noon this coming Thursday (16th). Father will beavailable for counsel, confession, to pray for you or anyrequests you have, or feel free pray silently on your own.REMINDER: Special All-Parish Meeting - A special All-
Parish Meeting will be held next Sunday (19th) duringFellowship Hour due to the extra expenses of fixing up therectory.

Chanting Volunteers Needed - Things are still in progressat the rectory and my office is literally boxed & piled up atthe moment. I have a tentative Daily Vespers on the calendarfor next week - that will not happen. I’m going to aim forOctober. Having said that, it would be nice to have a fewpeople willing and able to chant the service. The plan is todo them at 6 PM on Tuesdays. If you are interested, even ifyou have no experience, let me know. I’ll work with you tohelp prepare you for when we do start.Prayer List Update - I need some help with the prayer
list. I’m sorry to say I don’t know most of you yet and this listis a few weeks old. Should anyone be removed? Shouldanyone be added on? Please let me know.Phone Number & Email - I can be reached at
