Habitat:: A habitat is the place where an animal or a plant lives or grows. A fish’s habitat is in a river, lake, or ocean. A fish could not live in a habitat on land. Polar bears live in a cold habitat. Parrots live in a warm habitat. What kind of habitat do you live in?

Hatch: When it’s being born, a chick will hatch from an egg. The mother bird will keep her eggs warm until they hatch. When the chicks hatch, they peck at the eggshell to come out. Do all animals hatch from eggs?

Survive: TO survive means “ To stay alive or live through”. We need food, water, and air to survive. Fish need to live in water to survive.
