Shop Game is a marketing tool on Seller Centre which allows sellers to create their own games. Shop visitors can play your shop games and win prizes such as vouchers, to be used on your products.

You can use this tool to help drive customers’ engagement with your shop:● Drive shop traffic and engage visitors with fun games● Encourage players to use prizes won on your products● Drive sales and orders for your shop

With the right prizes, Shop Games will improve buyer engagement at your shops, you can also see higher orders and sales as players use your vouchers on your products.

In Shop Game, click on ‘Create’ to create a new game.

You will also see an overview of games created, based on their current Status:

● Ongoing games● Upcoming games● Expired games

Please note what you can edit after creating a game:

● ‘Ongoing’ games: only game period may be edited to be shorter, but not extended

● ‘Upcoming’ games: all details may be edited, except Game template.

● ‘Expired’ games: cannot be edited, only details may be viewed (refer to page X)

In Create Shop Game, you can select your desired Game Template based on the available game for selection.

● Spin & Win: A spin-the-wheel game where players can draw 1 out of 6 prizes in each spin

● Daily Prize: A game where players can win prizes by tapping on the chest.

Enter your Game Name. Note that Game Name will not be seen by your shop visitors.

Select the Game Period. Note that you can only have 1 ongoing game at any one point of time.

View the Chances to Play for the Game

● Fixed Daily Chance(s): the maximum number of free chances per player each day. Unused chances will expire at midnight.

● Bonus Chance(s): the bonus chances a player can get by sharing the game with others, or by ordering from your shop.

Click on ‘Next’ to proceed with Shop Game creation.

Once your game’s basic info has been set successfully, proceed to add prizes by first setting a Planned Budget

Click on ‘Generate Prizes’. The system will recommend a list of prizes to drive the highest potential sales from your game settings::

● The budget you have set● The duration of your game● The Chance Rule of the game

The system automatically generates a list of prizes with a default ‘No Prize’ included. This cannot be removed.

● Players will not draw the same prize twice. If a same prize is drawn, the prize assigned to player will be ‘No Prize’.

You can edit the other prize details:● Prize Type: Discount Vouchers or Coin Cashback

Vouchers ● Discount Type & Amount: Set discount rate for

voucher● Minimum Basket Price: Sets minimum amount

buyers are required to spend to use Voucher● Maximum Capped Amount: Sets a cap for amount

to be discounted when buyers use Voucher● Voucher Quantity: Sets the number of vouchers

If you Deleted a system-recommended prize, an ‘Add prize’ button will appear. There is a minimum number of required prizes for each Game Type.

If all business rules have been met, a pop-up will confirm successful creation of your game.

To view performance of your Shop Game, click on Details for games created.

You will be able to gauge performance of your game by looking at prizes used by players:

Q: Why can’t I find Shop Game in Seller Centre?A: Currently, Shop Game is only available to selected sellers.

Q: What is the maximum number of Shop Games I can create in a day?A: There is no limit for the number of Shop Games you can create in a day, as long as the Game Period does not overlap. You will be able to have 1 Shop

Game at any one point in time.

Q: Why can’t I create a sure-win game for buyers?A: ‘No-Prize’ is a mandatory prize generated for each game to help ensure you do not exceed your budget, considering the number of chances to play allowed

per player. If a player has won a Prize previously, the system will automatically display ‘No Prize’.

Q: How does the system recommend prizes for my Shop Game?A: The system recommends and automatically generates prizes based on your game settings: the planned budget you have set, the duration of your game,

and the chances to play.

Q: Can I choose other prizes aside from Vouchers?A: Currently, Vouchers are the only Prize Types available for selection. However, you can set the value, minimum spend and discount cap of your Voucher

according to your budget. You can choose to give Discount Voucher (amount or percentage) or Coin Cashback Voucher.

Q: How do players use the Vouchers they have won at my shop?A: Players will see a pop-up displaying the Prize they have won, with ‘Shop Now’ button which brings player to your shop. Won Vouchers will automatically

appear in their Voucher wallet and can be applied on your products upon checkout.

Q: Where can I see the performance of the Shop Game I have created?A: Click on ‘Details’ of each game. From there, you will be able to see how many Vouchers have been issued to buyers who have played your game.

Q: Why can’t I set a budget below the system’s minimum budget? A: The minimum budget set is recommended by the system, and designed to help you meet your business objectives

Q: What is the difference between Planned and Final Budget? A: The Planned Budget is also known as the expected budget you wish to set aside for your Shop Game’s prizes. The Final Budget is calculated by the final

number of prizes allocated for your Shop Game.

Q: How and when do I pay Shopee for the Budget utilised from my Shop Game? A: The final budget utilised from your Shop Game will be automatically deducted from Shopee’s payment to you.

Q: What happens to the unutilised Budget after my Game Period as ended?A: Unutilised Budget from your Shop Game will not be deducted from Shopee’s payment to you.
