How much time is involved?It’s completely up to you! Try a one day event, something once a month or an hour each week (with time out for exam/vacation periods).

What experience do I need?None whatsoever. Training and support is provided - so volunteering can give you the experience, CV and references you need to land that dream job!

Will I have to travel?Many projects are in student neighbourhoods and the city centre.

How much will it cost me?Not a penny. Expenses (e.g. travel etc) are covered so you won’t be out of pocket!

What if I don’t like it?No worries! You can revise your commitment at any time.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to spend your free time. You’ll meet amazing new friends, do cool stuff for free (like taking kids quad biking or learning how to dry stone wall) and get to explore Sheffield.
